3 - Wine Terms

1. Barrel: There are 2 primary styles of wine barrels, Bordeaux style (taller and narrower) which are 59 gallons and Burgundy barrels (shorter and swatter) which are 60 gallons, or approximately 300 bottles. Almost all wine barrels are made from white oak harvested in the Midwest and France. A new French barrel can cost over $1500.

2. Angular : A term used to describe a wine that does not feel smooth but coarse and awkward.

3. Punt: The indentation in the bottom of a wine bottle. The depth of the punt, or the weight of the glass has ZERO effect on the quality of the wine inside. Heavy bottles with deep punts are often be used by a shrewd wineries to increase the cost of a lower grade wine through perception alone.

2 - Quotes from Me & Others:

1. "The wise man is one who knows what he does not know" ~ Lao Tzu

2. "Realize that everything changes; some things will get better, while some won't. And while you have little control over how things change, you do have 100% control on how you respond to inevitable change." ~ The Zen Winemaker

1 - Question to ponder:

Do you have things that are clutter and no longer bring you joy or serve you no purpose?

Consider donating them to bring joy to someone else or simply throw them away if they are no use to you or others.

P.S. Also think about the clutter in your head and heart that you need to let go and do so.

If you shared this newsletter with 2 people, who then each share with two people, how many times would this need to be done to reach every human on earth? Answer
