Happy Friday! Time to wrap up this week and get ready for the next! Take a deep breath and kick off the weekend on a positive note. Let's consider where we have been, improve it, and move forward next week. Packing the most content into the least words and trying to change the world, one glass at a time.

3 - Wine Terms:

1. Champagne: A sparkling wine made in the Champagne region in France only. All other bubbly wines must be called Sparkling.

2. Élevage: A French term that describes the process of nurturing the wine from fermentation to barrel to bottling. It's like coaching a child from grade school to high school to college.

3. Decanting: The process of allowing air to incorporate into the wine to allow it to express it's aromas and to smooth out the tannins. Swirling wine is a quick way to Decant a wine.

2 - Quotes from Me & Others:

1. "If you realize that you, and only you, can choose to be happy or sad no matter what life throws at you, then you can begin to truly live life to the fullest."

2. "Just as a snake sheds its skin, we must shed our past over and over again." ~ Buddha (good by 2020)

1 - Question to ponder:

These are common traits of happy people:
  • Happy people have balance in life - work, life, play, others and self.
  • Happy people are compassionate and strive to make other peoples lives better.
  • Happy people don't worry about the small stuff - stuff happens - let it be.
  • Happy people admit when they made a mistake and take responsibility for themselves, their thoughts and actions.
  • Happy people hang out with other happy people - ditch the downers.
  • Happy people smile and embrace life.
  • Happy people are passionate about what they do.
  • Happy people see change and challenge as opportunities to grow.
  • Happy people live in the present.
Are you happy, or could you become happier in 2021 (no matter what life throws at you) ?
